Chief Automation Tester
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced remote Chief Automation Tester to join us, with a focus on automating the testing of web UI, APIs, E2E, and database applications. As the software engineer, you will lead the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and testing suites like PROVAR. You will be responsible for ensuring the application is of the highest quality, executing backend data-driven tests with Jest Node.js and automating the ETL process, and testing APIs for resiliency, latency, and performance across many components.

- Define the scope and procedures for quality engineering of the application, including the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using APEX, LWC, and testing suites like PROVAR
- Execute backend data-driven tests with Jest Node.JS and automate the ETL process
- Test APIs for resiliency, latency, and performance across many components
- Create logically structured test plans, design detailed test cases, file defects, and generate reports
- Ensure the application is of the highest quality, contributing to its successful outcome
- Lead and mentor a team of automation testers
- Collaborate closely with the rest of the team, contributing to the cohesive and successful outcomes of the project
- Drive data-driven decision-making processes within the organization
- Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on Salesforce Platform
- 2+ years of leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and lead a team of automation testers
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and testing suites like PROVAR
- Expertise in Salesforce Apex and Salesforce Platform, with the ability to design and implement complex solutions
- Proficiency in web service/API test automation and ETL/ELT solutions
- Experience with Jest and Node.js for backend data-driven tests
- Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Service Cloud
- Experience in creating logically structured test plans, designing detailed test cases, filing defects, and generating reports
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members
- Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and with external consultants
- Experience in testing Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC), enhancing testing capabilities and coverage
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
