Chief SAP Cloud Integration Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled remote Chief SAP Cloud Integration Developer to join our team for large-scale SAP implementation projects.
As a Chief Developer, you will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and documenting reliable and scalable integration solutions for SAP and non-SAP integration leveraging various technologies. You will also provide input to architecture, security, and data standards, ensuring governance and compliance with these standards. responsibilities
- Participate in large-scale SAP implementation projects as a technical consultant in the integration area
- Design, evaluate, and document reliable and scalable integration solutions for SAP and non-SAP integration leveraging various technologies (SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, Kafka, 3rd party application integration services and solutions, etc.)
- Provide input to architecture, security, and data standards, ensuring governance and compliance with these standards
- Collaborate with customers to present and explain solutions, gather NFRs
- Operate with non-functional requirements and quality attributes
- Estimate work efforts related to integration development and technical architecture components
- Advise on SAP CIO Guides (On-premises / Cloud / Hybrid), Integration Solution Advisory Methodology (ISA-M), Application Extension Methodology, RISE with SAP
- Enforce best practices and continuous improvement culture on the project
- Expand your knowledge and experience in SAP systems and beyond
requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in SAP PI/PO and Cloud Integration development and architecture
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
- At least 2 finished projects and system design and architecture from scratch
- Expertise in SAP ABAP in S/4HANA and SAP Process Orchestration
- Strong understanding of different Integration Styles and Use-Case Patterns, and respective solutions from SAP Portfolio (and other vendors)
- Experience designing system integration solutions in big heterogeneous enterprise landscapes
- Broad knowledge of different integration tools and platforms, ability to design solutions using various technologies
- Expertise in building solutions with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, API Management, Open Connectors, etc.)
- Competency in a programming language(-s): ABAP, Java, Groovy, JavaScript (Node.js, TypeScript)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, readiness to communicate with customers
- Fluent English language skills with an Upper-Intermediate level
nice to have
- Ability to identify solution gaps and develop gap closure options
- Understanding of one or more business domains
- Experience in one of the cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Certifications from SAP or other vendors
- Capability to present SAP features and innovations filtered and focused on potential customer needs
