Chief Security Engineer
We are seeking a Chief Security Engineer to ensure safe coding practices, maintain security standards, and identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities across our Business Information & Media project. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, Angular, Spring Boot, and Spring Security. The Lead Security Engineer will collaborate with project teams to adopt and institutionalize security best practices and standards, as well as mentor and educate development teams on security practices and standards. This is a remote position.
responsibilities
- Lead the security efforts using Java, Angular, Spring Boot, and Spring Security
- Ensure code is free of security vulnerabilities and adhere to secure coding practices
- Identify and remediate security issues found through testing, code reviews, and penetration testing
- Collaborate with project teams to adopt and institutionalize security best practices and standards
- Mentor and educate development teams on security practices and standards
requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in security development or related field
- Expert in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with cloud platforms
- English level B2
- Wide work experience in Angular
- Master in security disciplines like Java security, secure coding practices, security standards, security vulnerabilities and Spring Security
nice to have
- Experience with Agile development
- Knowledge of CSS and HTML
- Familiarity with test-driven development
