Data Security Architect
Our tech company is seeking a highly skilled remote Data Security Architect to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security solutions for our data-centric and integration systems. They will work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to ensure compliance with company security standards and procedures.
responsibilities
- Develop and implement security solutions for our data-centric and integration systems
- Work with business stakeholders and development teams to ensure compliance with company security standards and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to improve overall security posture
- Manage security incidents and respond to any security threats
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices
requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in a software development role
- 1+ years of experience in overall architecture discipline (Applications, Data, Technical, Security, Development, Operational, etc.)
- At least 2 finished projects in a lead role and system design and architecture from scratch
- Hands-on experience with a variety of security tools and technologies
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and managed services (GCP and/or AWS)
- Knowledge of architectural domains: Event Mesh, BigQuery and Cloud Storage, CI/CD Pipelines, and Structured / Unstructured Data
- B2+ English level
nice to have
- Advanced knowledge of big data technologies, including Apache Kafka and Elastic Stack
- Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed systems
- Familiarity with event sourcing and observability techniques
- Architecture certification (TOGAF, EACOE, etc.)
