Data Security Architect
We seek a skilled Data Security Architect to join our remote team, bringing expertise in architectural standards/foundation and software development methodologies.
The Architect will contribute to crafting application, data-centric, and integration solutions, focusing on Product and Platform architecture practices. The selected candidate should possess exceptional communication skills to lead a development team, collaborate with business stakeholders, articulate and advocate functional and solution concepts, and ensure cohesion across the diverse work streams of intricate projects and programs. Individuals are expected to fortify ongoing initiatives, discern customer needs, and enhance existing projects and programs.
responsibilities
- Lead discussions and development, design, and architecture for strategic initiatives, including cloud, integration, and on-premises enterprise solutions, engaging various business and technology teams as necessary
- Reviewing business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution
- Communicate the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborate and coordinate with existing domain architects
- Validate and future-proof solution designs and software vendors, internal service providers, application business analysts, and application developers
- Prepare, conduct, and evaluate proof-of-concept integration solutions per business use cases
- Quantify the business values and articulate the value proposition to application teams and senior management
- Document and diagram current and future state integration processes across business applications
- Develop and own Solution design and present the solution to the Architectural Review Board (ARB) to review/evaluate/approve key technology and system initiatives
requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a role related to software development, systems design, and deployment
- 1+ years of experience in overall architecture discipline (Applications, Data, Technical, Security, Development, Operational, etc.)
- At least 2 finished projects in a lead role and system design and architecture from scratch
- Strong understanding of architectural standards/foundation and software development methodologies, familiarity with modeling techniques
- Exceptional understanding of Technology systems, including system design, API design, database, and programming concepts
- Understanding of architecture methodologies, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), and software development life cycles
- Cloud Platform and managed services experience (ideally GCP and AWS)
- Knowledge of Microservices, Event Mesh, and Data pipelines
- Experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Elastic
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD Pipelines, API-First, Observability, Kafka
- B2+ English level

- Architecture Certification (TOGAF, EACOE, etc.)
- Strong understanding of current and future technology and application trends in Data Security
