Data Solution Architect
We are seeking a talented remote Data Solution Architect to join our team and work on a cutting-edge project in the field of data analytics.
In this role, you will lead a team of engineers in the development of advanced data solutions using Apache Spark, Databricks, Python, and Scala. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable data pipelines, as well as optimizing data processing and storage. responsibilities
- Design and develop data pipelines using Apache Spark and Databricks, ensuring data quality and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design efficient data solutions
- Implement and maintain data ingestion processes, including data validation and cleansing
- Develop and maintain data processing workflows using Python, Scala, and other relevant languages
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient and scalable data processing
- Contribute to the development of data architecture and infrastructure, including the selection and implementation of appropriate tools and technologies
- Document data pipelines and processes, ensuring clear and concise communication with stakeholders
requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of real production experience in Data Software Engineering
- Minimum of 2 projects in a technical team lead role with constant hands-on work during the last 3 years
- At least 1 year of experience as a Data Solution Architect
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Databricks, showcasing your ability to develop and maintain data pipelines
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, and other relevant languages, enabling you to write efficient and scalable code
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Databricks
- Completed Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification, showcasing your knowledge and expertise in Databricks
- English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
- Fluent spoken and written Spanish
nice to have
- Experience with other Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop, Kafka, or Cassandra
- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning concepts
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools, such as JIRA or Trello
