Lead Android Developer
We are looking for a skilled Lead Android Developer to join our remote team and help us build innovative mobile payment solutions. As a Lead Android Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of Android developers and ensuring that our mobile payment solutions meet the highest quality and performance standards. The project involves building a mobile payment platform that supports various payment methods, including credit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.
responsibilities
- Lead a team of Android developers and ensure that our mobile payment solutions meet the highest quality and performance standards
- Design and develop highly performant and scalable Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Create and maintain technical documentation for the Android application
- Optimize application performance and improve user experience
- Conduct code reviews and ensure that code meets the required standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Android development
requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Android development
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in Kotlin for Android and Android Studio
- Strong knowledge of mobile payments and the payment industry
- Experience with RxJava and reactive programming
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
nice to have
- Experience with mobile application security and encryption
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or CircleCI
