We are currently looking for a remote Lead Big Data Software Engineer with solid DevOps experience to join our team.
The customer provides Direct-to-Consumer services encompassing global entertainment and news TV properties, TV stations group, and radio businesses.
responsibilities
- Lead, design and implement innovative analytical solutions
- Analyze, organize and provide in-depth code reviews
- Provide consulting services on cloud-based technologies
- Automation practices implementation
- Work with product and engineering teams to understand requirements, evaluate new features and architecture to help drive decisions
- Contribute to the architecture and solution design
- Communicate with the customer
requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Extensive experience with Snowflake platform
- Solid expertise in automation practices
- Vast SQL knowledge
- Excellent understanding of CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab and Liquibase) and project life-cycle principles
- Familiarity with AWS technologies
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal for interacting with the team, presentation skills for working with the clients)
- Spoken and written English level should be B2 and higher
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
