Lead Business Analyst for an American Financial Services Company 40 hrs/week, 12+ months
Currently, we are looking for a remote Lead Business Analyst to join our team.
Our client is an American financial services holding company. It is the largest non-bank lender in the United States and a leading consumer finance company whose shares are constantly growing at the market.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with business stakeholders to define the key personas and product capabilities
- Develop and maintain a long-term product roadmap of product releases, initiatives, and capabilities
- Work closely with business and technology teams to define a value-driven product release plan
- Work closely with a BA and Dev Team to decompose the high-level backlog into actionable stories and tasks
- Recommend and specify requirements for product capabilities supported by market research and ongoing interaction with both customers and non-customers
- Research and document the customer's journey
- Manage product milestones and communicate them to the stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software Product Owner or Product Manager
- Background in data engineering, data science, or data analytics is a big plus
- Marketing industry experience is a big plus
- Proven record of launching product (or key product functionalities)
- Previous experience and success working with Agile product development teams
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to advocate for the right thing in the face of the objection, for the user
- Capability to influence decision making across a wide variety of roles and levels in the organization
- Desire to manage client expectations effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Capacity to perform impact analysis, identify changes to business processes, perform testing, and effectively communicate with business
- Possibility to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment
- B2+ level of English
Nice to have
- Prior participation in Data/Marketing platform development in any role is a big plus
