Lead Business Analyst for Canadian Health and Dental Benefits Provider 40 hrs/week, 12+ months

We are looking for a remote Lead Business Analyst with 4+ years’ experience in business analysis in software development projects, experience, and familiarity using SQL and Oracle databases to join our global team.

Our customer is a Canadian not-for-profit health and dental benefits provider. They take a closer look at each customer’s specific issues to find answers that lead to real, bottom-line savings and practical business solutions.

  • Create/elaborate user stories from existing app functionality via testing, reverse engineering activities, new wireframes/application flow prototype
    • Coordinate between onshore and offshore, within and between scrum team
      • Scope and change management tracking


        • 4+ years’ experience of business analysis in software development projects
          • Produce business requirement artifacts including UML, Use Cases, Business Rules, Functional & Non-Functional Specifications, User Interface Design Specifications, etc.
            • Experience and familiarity using SQL and Oracle databases
              • Proven ability of Business requirement decomposition
                • Experience in creating data flows, diagrams, and mockups
                  • Strong knowledge of Agile practices: Scrum, Kanban
                    • Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and client stakeholders
                      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, quick learner
                        • Good communication skills
                          • Upper-Intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)
