Lead DevOps
We are looking for an accomplished Lead DevOps professional to lead our remote DevOps team.
With 5+ years of relevant production experience and at least 1+ year of leadership experience, you will guide the team in building and maintaining our infrastructure. As a Lead DevOps, you will oversee the data infrastructure management, automation tools implementation, and CI/CD pipelines establishment. Strong leadership skills, along with expertise in Amazon EMR, Amazon Web Services, Bash, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Python DevOps Tools, and Terraform, are crucial for this role.
responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance and support
- Manage data infrastructure and ensure its stability, scalability, and security
- Implement automation tools and frameworks such as Terraform, Bamboo, and Jenkins
- Establish efficient CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve system performance
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure
- Utilize cloud services, particularly Amazon Web Services, to enhance the infrastructure
- Implement best practices for version control using Git and ensure code quality
- Oversee the adherence to important constraints, such as expected working hours and release support
requirements
- 5+ years of relevant production experience in a DevOps role
- 1+ year of experience in a leadership or managerial position
- Proficiency in Amazon EMR, Amazon Web Services, Bash, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Python DevOps Tools, and Terraform
- Strong understanding of data infrastructure management
- Extensive experience with automation tools and frameworks, including Terraform, Bamboo, and Jenkins
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their implementation
- Solid understanding of cloud services and their utilization
- Proficient in using Git for version control
- Strong SQL skills for managing databases and performing data-related tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- B2+ English level
nice to have
- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow management
- Familiarity with MLflow for machine learning lifecycle management
- Knowledge of MongoDB for NoSQL database management
- Understanding of PostgreSQL for relational database management
