Lead DevOps Engineer for a Financial company
Currently, we are looking for a remote Lead DevOps Engineer for a Financial company to join our team.
Our client is an American financial services holding company. It is the largest non-bank lender in the United States and a leading consumer finance company whose shares are constantly growing in the market.
responsibilities
- Monitoring of infrastructure (k8s clusters load CPU scaling, SqS queues, DB - services health monitoring, watch for bottlenecks/issues, availability of different services, internal/external, latency, latency trends, synthetic tests for availability and latency)
- Monitoring logs (number of errors, time period trends in the logs)
- Visualization (dashboards - Grafana, App Dynamics; alarming - sms, slack)
- Working with Terraform to manage all of the above as IaC
- Discussing how logging can be improved, and then leverage the logging to create threshold alerting and observability
requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps experience
- Experience in building monitoring instrumentation
- Experience with tools such as AWS Cloudwatch, Grafana, App Dynamics
- Provide input guidance to others working on monitoring instrumentation
- English level B2+
nice to have
- Knowledge of AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions
- Experience with DNS, Kubernetes, Lambda
