Lead DevOps with AWS for a Pharmaceutical Company 40 hrs/week, 12+ months

Currently, we are looking for a remote Lead DevOps with AWS knowledge and basic understanding of BigData ecosystem to join our team.

The customer is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical healthcare companies. Its principal business is medicines, biologics, vaccines, and consumer and animal products.

Responsibilities

  • Support of current Data Lake solution
    • Development of framework for automatic jobs creation and deployment (based on external configuration or api call)
      • Help in integration of StreamSets and Airflow into MSD infrastructure
        • Daily communication with customer in English

          Requirements

          • 5+ years of experience in DevOps field
            • AWS knowledge (e.g. AIM, EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, Secrets Manager, Cloudwatch, Glue)
              • Basic understanding of BigData ecosystem - Spark and EMR (understanding of basic principles)
                • Knowledge of automation tools (Jenkins)
                  • CI/CD principles understanding
                    • Basic knowledge of SQL
                      • English level: B2 or higher
                        • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence
                          • Experience working with agile development
                            • Basic knowledge of Dala Lake
                              • 1+ year of leadership experience

                                Nice to have

                                • Python experience
                                  • Streamsets knowledge
                                    • Airflow experience
