We are looking for an experienced and talented Lead Embedded Key Developer to lead our remote team in developing cutting-edge embedded software solutions.
With 5+ years of relevant production experience in embedded software development and 1+ years of leadership experience, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our projects. As a Lead Embedded Key Developer, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of key components in our embedded software solutions. You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring high-quality code standards and efficient collaboration.
responsibilities
- Leading a remote team of embedded software developers
- Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of key components in embedded software solutions
- Defining project requirements, specifications, and milestones
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to the team members
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of embedded systems
- Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to high-quality code standards
- Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in embedded software development
- Troubleshooting and debugging complex hardware and software issues
- Identifying and implementing process improvements for increased efficiency and productivity
requirements
- 5+ years of relevant production experience in embedded software development
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in RTOS and MCUs
- Proficiency in C++ programming language
- Strong knowledge of FreeRTOS and Embedded Linux
- Experience with audio streaming technologies
- Understanding of cloud connectivity, IoT, and security principles
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, web services, WebRTC, SIP/RTSP
- Familiarity with UART, GPIO, I2C, SPI, SDIO, and WiFi interfaces
- Ability to read and understand schematics for signal processing
- Proficiency in using oscilloscopes and multimeters for debugging hardware issues
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- B2+ English level

- Experience with NRF SDK and GStreamer
- Knowledge of DSP and audio/video encoding techniques
