Lead Java Developer for a Publishing Company
Currently, we are looking for a remote Lead Data Integration Engineer to join the team.
The customer is a global provider of professional information, software solutions, and services for clinicians, accountants, lawyers, and tax, finance, audit, risk, compliance, and regulatory sectors.
responsibilities
- Develop high quality, high performance software applications using Core Java and the domain specific language (from time-to-time)
- Analyze product requirements and design solutions according to company standards and techniques
- Contribute to estimating development efforts
- Design and implement integration with other application stacks within our eco system
- Define test scenarios, implement automated test cases, perform non-regression analysis, analyze test results to validate new functionalities in close collaboration with the other team members
- Participate actively to product documentation
- Contribute to maintain the application architecture consistency as well as development tools and methodology
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Support remote consultants implementing our product at the client
requirements
- 6+ years of experience with Java
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Readiness to work with DSL (Domain specific language)
- Experience with Apache Maven
- Knowledge one of the database Oracle or/and MS SQL (queries, stored procedures)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-learner, independent, assertive
- Problem-solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines
- B2+ English level
nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker
- Prior experience in banking industry
