We are currently looking for a remote Lead Software Engineer with 5+ years of software development experience and strong experience in building multilayered applications to join our team.
The customer is an entertainment company that specializes in the dubbing and distribution of East Asian media, most notably Japanese anime.
responsibilities
- Ability to write high quality and maintainable code
- Work in close cooperation with the Team, Team Lead, SA and customer
- Ensure timely development, own responsibility of your activities
- Provide timely and clear reporting of progress
requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Micro-service development experience
- REST API development experience
- NoSQL development experience
- JavaScript development experience
- AWS Lambda, Node.js and TypeScript experience are preferred
- Strong experience in building multilayered applications - from architecture to implementation
- Solid practical experience in writing high quality and testable code (not limited to unit testing)
- A clear understanding of cross-cutting concerns and implementation details
- Good English and communication skills
- Advanced JIRA user
- Understanding of Kanban, Scrum methodologies
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
