Lead Machine Learning Developer
We are seeking a remote Lead Machine Learning Developer to join our dynamic team for a new fintech startup.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models using Python. You will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to gather requirements, design and implement solutions, and deliver high-quality code. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and research methods.
responsibilities
- Build, design, and develop high-quality machine learning models that meet the project's requirements
- Collaborate with other engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions
- Apply research methods and best practices to analyze and improve models' performance
- Provide technical mentorship and training to junior team members
- Write clean and maintainable code that is easy to understand and scalable
requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Developer with at least 2 years in a lead role
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in Python, NLP, and research methods
- Experience in working with OpenAL, Hugging Face, Langchain implementation, or similar tools
- Proven experience in developing and implementing Machine Learning models
- Hands-on experience in AI
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and machine learning tools
- B2+ English level

- Experience in Domain Research
- Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) labeling techniques
- Knowledge of payment processing systems and fintech industry trends
