Currently, we're looking for a remote Lead .NET Developer for Multinational Media
Conglomerate.
The client is a Canadian multinational media conglomerate that operates in complex arenas — law, tax, compliance, government, and media – and face increasing complexity as regulation and technology disrupts every industry.
responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on various aspects of the product development
- Code review
- Clarify requirements, work with PO and the team on the backlog estimation and prioritization
- Keep track of requirements, architecture, technical and non-technical risks
- Onboarding of new team members
- Write and maintain technical documentation, user guides, etc.
- Work in close collaboration with other teams
- Provide timely support and assistance to production support requests
- Active participation in Scrum ceremonies
- Track team performance and performance of individuals, propose ideas how to overcome issues
- Take the initiative to understand key parts of the product
- Drive knowledge transfer process
- Work in a distributed team, with team members in different countries (USA, Mexico) and time zones
- Keep the team synergy, motivating and inspiring people
requirements
- 5+ years of experience as .NET Developer
- Ability to work in a constantly changing VUCA environment
- Strong A3, A4 with great leadership skills
- English at least at B1+ level
- Strong .NET knowledge
- Experience with desktop applications (WPF, WinForms)
- Database: SQL Server, Azure SQL Database
- Solid experience with Azure
- Good knowledge of testing approaches (NUnit, MSTest). Nice to have: experience in automation testing
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Solid understanding and experience in SDLC, CI/CD
- Great knowledge of Git
- Good understanding of Agile and Scrum
- Knowledge of PowerShell and other scripting is nice to have
- English level: B2+
