Lead Node.js Software Engineer for Oil Company 40 hrs/week, 12+ months

Currently we are looking for a remote Lead Node.js Software Engineer .

Customer is one of the world's largest oil companies, it ranked nineteenth in the Fortune 500 list of the top US closely held and public corporations and sixteenth on the Fortune Global 500 list of the top 500 corporations worldwide. It was also one of the Seven Sisters that dominated the global petroleum industry from the mid-1940s to the 1970s. Currently we are looking to form a strong team to lead the migration of over 4000 Customer applications to Microsoft Azure. The team will be responsible for developing and deploying new tools and applications which will support modernizing process, including web jobs, serverless API’s, authentication and authorization, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Key developer will have to establish close communication with product owner and external services owners to clarify requirements

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in Node.js (0.10 and latest, express-based Apigee's framework)
      • Knowledge of NoSQL storages (Cassandra + Elasticsearch + Usergrid, Mongo)
        • Hands on WebSockets
          • Experience in Docker
            • Good level of English (B1+)
