Lead SAP ABAP Developer
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead SAP ABAP Developer to join our remote team and work on a project for one of the largest garment manufacturers in the world. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of SAP ABAP solutions in S/4HANA and ensuring that the solutions meet the client's requirements.
responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of SAP ABAP solutions in S/4HANA for the client's Sales and Distribution and Apparel and Footwear modules
- Collaborate with the functional team to understand and analyze the client's requirements
- Design and implement custom developments, enhancements, and reports
- Perform code reviews and ensure that the SAP solutions meet the client's requirements and follow best practices and standards
- Ensure that the SAP ABAP solutions are optimized for performance and meet the non-functional requirements
- Mentor a team of SAP developers
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team members
- Ensure that the technical specifications and documentation are up-to-date and accurate
requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including experience in SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear
- 1+ year of experience in team management
- In-depth knowledge of ABAP Core
- Extensive experience in developing and maintaining SAP ABAP solutions in S/4HANA, demonstrating adaptability to the latest technologies.
- Adept at designing and implementing SAP ABAP solutions, encompassing custom developments, enhancements, and reports, catering to specific business needs.
- Skilled in analyzing and resolving complex technical issues and tasks, ensuring efficient problem-solving.
- A staunch advocate of SAP ABAP development best practices and standards, upholding quality and consistency.
- Proven ability to optimize SAP ABAP solutions for enhanced performance, ensuring system efficiency.
- An expert in crafting technical specifications and documentation, facilitating clear communication and knowledge transfer.
- A natural leader and mentor, guiding and empowering a team of SAP ABAP developers to achieve their full potential.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level, fostering seamless collaboration and understanding.

- Certification in SAP ABAP development or related fields, demonstrating expertise and validation of skills
