We are looking for a Lead SAP ABAP Developer to join our remote team and work on an exciting project for our client, a leading clothing and accessories manufacturer and retailer. As a Lead SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical design, development, and implementation of SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear modules in S/4HANA. You will work closely with the project team, stakeholders, and end-users to ensure the project's success.

responsibilities

Lead the development team and provide technical guidance and mentoring
Design and develop high-quality SAP ABAP code for the client's Sales and Distribution and Apparel and Footwear modules
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement SAP development solutions that meet business requirements
Review and analyze technical specifications to ensure the quality of the code and adherence to best practices
Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of the code
Provide support for the integration of SAP with other systems and applications
Provide estimates for development tasks and track progress against the plan

requirements

At least 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
1+ year experience in leading and mentoring development teams
Extensive experience with SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear modules
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and its integration with other SAP modules
Expertise in ABAP Core and Clean Code principles
Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting SAP ABAP programs and identifying performance issues
Knowledge of SAP best practices and methodologies, including ASAP and Agile
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
