Lead SAP ABAP Developer
We are currently looking for an experienced Lead SAP ABAP Developer to join our remote team.
In this position, you will bring your extensive production experience of five or more years, along with a minimum of one year of relevant leadership experience, to drive the development and maintenance of complex programs, interfaces, reports, and other critical components of SAP systems. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will be instrumental in guiding the team toward successful project outcomes.

- Lead and manage the development, maintenance, and enhancement of ABAP programs and solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and delivery
- Optimize the performance and reliability of SAP systems through advanced ABAP programming techniques
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to the development team
- Work remotely from anywhere in the designated locations
requirements
- Expertise in SAP ABAP programming is mandatory
- Minimum of five years of experience in SAP ABAP development
- Minimum of one year of relevant leadership experience in a team setting
- Proficiency in ABAP Core and advanced programming concepts
- Strong communication skills, with a required English level of B2+
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining a collaborative mindset
nice to have
- Experience with SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, or PP
- Familiarity with SAP HANA and S/4HANA technologies
- Knowledge of Web Dynpro, Floorplan Manager, or UI5 for SAP user interface development
- Understanding of SAP Fiori design principles and development
- Proficiency in SAP Enhancement Framework and BAdIs for customizations
- Exposure to SAP NetWeaver Gateway and OData services for API development
