Lead Software Architect for a Multinational Bank

Currently, we are looking for a remote Lead Software Architect with 5+ years in building up Solution or Platform Architecture for small- to medium-sized applications and hands-on experience with a public Cloud Service Provider to join our team.
The client is a Swiss multinational investment bank and financial services company founded and based in Switzerland.
responsibilities
- Take ownership and evolve the overall cloud platform and solution architecture of a B2B digital advisory platform
- Eensure a highly secure infrastructure as well as excellent production performance
- Own and manage the Cloud Team backlog, acting as Product Owner
- Collaborate with our Application Architect, Development Team, and Product Owners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and governance related stakeholders (e.g. CTO, InfoSec, etc.)
- Own and drive the platform related architecture review board
- Support the integration architecture with external clients
- Clearly communicate and drive the strategy and vision
requirements
- Hands-on experience with a public Cloud Service Provider (Microsoft Azure preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of serverless and/or PaaS environments; strong experience with Kubernetes/AKS
- Practical experience applying cloud design patterns in multi-tiered environments
- Strong hands-on engineering and architecture background
- Substantial analytical skills to capture and manage complex enterprise environments
- 5+ years in building up Solution or Platform Architecture for small- to medium sized applications
- 5+ years of experience in configuring, deploying and running IT assets in complex system landscapes
- Degree in computer science, or similar professional certifications
- Background in the financial industry or similar strongly regulated environment
