Lead Solution Architect for a Pharmaceutical Company 40 hrs/week, 12+ months

We are currently looking for a remote Lead Solution Architect with a Knowledge of AWS, experience with Docker and container orchestrators and familiarity with database migration orchestrator tools to join our team.

The customer is an American pharmaceutical company headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, with offices in 18 countries. Its products are sold in approximately 125 countries.

  • Drives discovery of migration and modernization approach
    • Designs scalable immutable infrastructure and model for migration project
      • Creates application and database deployment guidelines
        • Prepares roadmap for migration and modernization efforts
          • Leads system/cloud engineers and works on POCs for application migration
            • Collaborates with .NET architect to drive modernization efforts


              • Build tools: Jenkins Groovy and GitHub actions
                • Knowledge of AWS with emphasis on cloud native solution (EC2, S3, CloudFront, ELB, Lambda. API Gateway. Fargate, RDS, AWS Active Directory)
                  • IaC Provisioning (Terraform, CloudFormation) knowledge
                    • Experience with Docker and container orchestrators such as K8s and OpenShift
                      • Familiarity with database migration orchestrator tools such as Flyway or Liquibase
                        • Experience with .NET Core in Serverless / Lambda world
                          • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
