We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Systems Engineer with expertise in Anthos to join our remote team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing, and smoke testing new Anthos GKE, cluster installation, management, maintenance, and support, certificate management, secrets management, repaving, Jenkins IaC pipeline management, Helm charts, and managing the RabbitMQ cluster, and ISTIO.
The scope of responsibilities includes working with a distributed team and aligning the "On-Call" support with a 12-hour rotation for one weekend per month.

- Create, install, and smoke test new Anthos GKE
- Cluster Installation/Management/Maintenance and Support
- Certificate Management and Secrets Management
- Repaving
- Jenkins IaC Pipeline Management and Helm Charts
- Manage RabbitMQ Cluster and ISTIO
- Work with a distributed team and align "On-Call" support with a 12-hour rotation for one weekend per month
- Monitor system health via monitoring tools
- Manage incoming incidents
- Resolve normal and standard changes and other requests
requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Extensive experience in Google Anthos, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance
- Knowledge and experience with Jenkins
- Ability to work in shifts and be available on call to support a 24x7 operations model
- Experience in working in an agile development team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Helm, Jira, monitoring tools, and Python would be an added advantage
- B2+ English level
