Lead Talend Engineer for an Information Technology and Services Company 40 hrs/week, 12+ months

We are currently looking for a remote Lead Talend Engineer with 5+ years of experience with Talend Open Studio to join our team.

The customer is a global leader in providing trusted insights and analytics that helps to increase the pace of innovation.


  • Create documents, develop, test and deploy data integration processes using Talend Open Studio
    • Collaborate with the team, analyze and apply business rules to data transformations
      • Perform data validation, cleansing and analysis
        • Test, debug and document ETL processes, SQL queries and stored procedures
          • Analyze data from various sources, including databases and flat files
            • ETL development, deployment, optimization, support, defect fixes, unit testing and integration testing
              • Develop error and exception handling processes
                • Adopt integration standards, best practices while creating ETL jobs


                  • 5+ years of experience with Talend Open Studio
                    • Solid background in database systems (such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift and Snowflake)
                      • Deep knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, data models
                        • Good knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write stored procedures, triggers, functions
                          • Python and Core Java skills
                            • Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
                              • English level - B2+
                                • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
