Middle Automation Tester
We are seeking a highly motivated remote Middle Automation Tester to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative automation testing solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing new automation tests, executing and maintaining the automation testing framework, and analyzing and reporting on test results. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to ensure the highest levels of quality are achieved. responsibilities
- Participate in Scrum events, including grooming, planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups
- Evaluate user stories to determine testing requirements
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to ensure high levels of quality in testing
- Design and develop new automation tests
- Execute and maintain the automation testing framework
- Analyze and report on test results
- Refactor code to improve overall quality and maintainability
- Support team documentation
requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in automated testing using JavaScript
- Proficiency in Playwright and web UI test automation tools in JavaScript
- Experience in web service/API test automation
- Knowledge of Protractor, Jasmine, and Cucumber
- Experience in automation testing framework development
- Understanding of REST web services
- Experience in BDD approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with CI systems, with a preference for Jenkins
- Familiarity with Report Portal tool
