Middle Business Analyst for a Financial Technology and Information Company 40 hrs/week, 12+ months

We are currently looking for a remote Middle Business Analyst with prior experience working on SDLC projects and ability to work through technical stacks of the project to join our team.

The customer is one of the world’s largest providers of financial markets data and infrastructure, serving over 40,000 institutions in approximately 190 countries. It provides leading data and insights, trading platforms, and open data and technology platforms that connect a thriving global financial markets community - driving performance in trading, investment, wealth management, regulatory compliance, market data management, enterprise risk and fighting financial crime.

Responsibilities

  • Be a liaison between development team and business partners
    • Work directly with the client/business stakeholders to elicit requirements, propose feasible functional solutions, support acceptance testing, help with buy-in and conflict handling
      • Communicate directly with development stakeholders to discuss and elaborate requirements feasibility, resolute and clarify ambiguity, review test scenarios and test results

        Requirements

        • 2+ years of experience in business analysis
          • Prior experience working on SDLC projects
            • Ability to work through technical stacks of the project like DB & backend services, ETL processes, API & Web Services, Jobs and Triggers
              • Experience in documenting software system requirements, requirements management with E2E traceability, working through Jira/Rally ALM/TFS
                • SDLC experience in Agile Scrum and/or SAFe processes
                  • Background in any leading business domain, preferably banking and financial services
                    • Good understanding of the project technology areas

                      Nice to have

                      • Experience in software development and/or testing
                        • Experience working as Scrum Master or Project Manager
