Currently, we are looking for a remote Middle DevOps with AWS expertise to join our team.
You will have full ownership of the availability, performance, and scalability of one of our customer's most critical shared services.
responsibilities
- Maintain the services in the CIAM, Administration, Rights & Entitlements Technology domain by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health
- Scale systems sustainably through automation and partner with development teams to improve system reliability and release velocity
- Participate in capacity planning, on-call rotations, incident response, blameless postmortems, and root cause analysis and resolution
- Be a vocal advocate of strong/sound engineering practices that allow us to build, deploy, and run scalable, reliable, and performant services
requirements
- Experience with Object Oriented programming in at least one of the following languages: C# (preferred), Java, Python, or Go
- Experience with administration of Windows/Unix/Linux operating systems
- Experience with one of the following cloud platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency in CI/CD: Rundeck/Jenkins
- Excellence in code reading (one of): C#, Java, .NET
- Experienced in monitoring and visualization: Grafana/Splunk/ELK/CloudWatch
- Knowledge of HTML, JSON
- Proficiency in Windows, Solaris
- Experience with Clouds (one of)
- Experience with Jira
- Knowledge of Team management & mentoring practices
- Knowledge of Serverless & microservices, REST & RESTful principles & practices
