We are seeking a remote Middle DevOps Engineer with Google Cloud Platform expertise to join our team.
You will be responsible for support of the migration of corporate windows workloads into GCP on Virtual Machines (GCE).
responsibilities
- Support the migration of corporate windows workloads into GCP on Virtual Machines (GCE)
- Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to design, develop and implement solutions for GCP
- Use Terraform and Jenkins for provisioning and configuring infrastructure
- Deploy, manage and maintain instances in GCE
- Maintain and optimize the performance of existing GCP resources
requirements
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- 6+ months of production experience with GCP
- Experience with Google Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and Google Cloud Identity and Access Management
- Working knowledge of GitHub
- Experience with Terraform and Jenkins
- B2+ English level proficiency
nice to have
- Experience with Windows background/industry
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Google Cloud Dataflow, Apache Beam, Pub/sub, etc.
