Middle GCP Developer
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Middle GCP Developer to join our remote team.
With 2+ years of relevant work experience, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cloud-based systems on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As a Middle GCP Developer, you will work in an international team and contribute to both Agile and Non-Agile Team Models. You should have excellent communication skills in English, and German language proficiency is optional.
responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and microservices in a container environment
- Implement and maintain infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, TerraGrunt, Terraform Enterprise, and Ansible
- Participate in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices using GitHub and established CI/CD pipeline patterns
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, OpsGenie, NewRelic, DataDog, Splunk, and Google Operations-Suite (Stackdriver) to ensure the reliability and performance of our systems
- Apply your knowledge of ITIL processes and work with agile methodologies, particularly in a large-scale setup based on SCRUM
requirements
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in GCP development or a related field
- Proficiency in cloud ecosystems running on Google Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes operations, particularly with GKE or similar technologies
- Strong understanding of infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, TerraGrunt, Terraform Enterprise, and Ansible
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices, specifically with GitHub and CI/CD pipeline patterns
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, OpsGenie, NewRelic, DataDog, Splunk, and Google Operations-Suite (Stackdriver)
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, including related tools such as TeamCity, BitBucket, Artifactory, SonarQube, Veracode, Crucible, JIRA, Confluence, and Service Now
- Proficiency in analyzing log files and troubleshooting issues
- Understanding of microservice architectures
- B2+ English level
