Middle Java Developer (AWS+Kafka)

We are seeking a remote Middle Java Developer with expertise in AWS and Kafka.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in Java and open-source frameworks like Spring, and 1 year of experience working with microservices and distributed computing-based architectures at a high scale. The candidate should also have a good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP, along with experience in REST, SOAP, and binary payloads using Thrift or gRPC.

responsibilities
  • Developing and integrating APIs in REST and SOAP protocols
  • Profiling CPU/Memory of applications
  • Troubleshooting and debugging through logs and dashboards
  • Working with resiliency and error handling techniques such as throttling, circuit breaker, and bulk heading
  • Collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders
requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in Java and open-source frameworks like Spring
  • Expertise in Java Cloud Stack, AWS, and Kafka
  • Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OOP, REST, and SOAP
  • Experience in microservices and distributed computing-based architectures
  • Good communication skills for working with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • B2+ English level
nice to have
  • Experience in payments domain and integrating payment gateways
  • Knowledge of Go programming language
  • Exposure to Apache Kafka and Queue-based technologies
  • Experience in coding on databases like RDBMS and NoSQL
  • Education from a good regional college/NITs
