Middle Java Developer for Travel Company

Currently, we are looking for a remote Middle Java Developer to join our team.

The customer is an online travel agency and metasearch engine that helps book airline tickets, hotel reservations, car rentals, cruise ships, and vacation packages.

responsibilities
  • Implement functionality
    • Write unit, component and integration tests
      • Work with various AWS services and their API
        • Dockerize services
          • fix CI/CD if required
            • Code reviews
              • 24/7 On-call support on a rotation basis
                requirements
                • 2+ years of experienced in system architecture design and development
                  • Experience in Java 8+
                    • Spring Framework, SpringBoot, SpringCloud, SpringWebMVC experience
                      • Git, maven, gradle, Jenkins, docker, cloudformation experience
                        • Hands on experience in AWS. (cloudformation, VPC, ECS fargate, VPCE, S3, DynamoDB, SecretManager)
                          • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, DynamoDB)
                            • English - able to ask question via email or slack
                              nice to have
                              • Nice to have SpringWebFlux, splunk, datadog, NoSQL, performace tests experience
