We are hiring a remote Middle SAP Basis Engineer to work on a thrilling project for our client, digital retailer of shoes, clothing, and cosmetics. As a SAP Basis Engineer, you will manage, monitor, and support the SAP environment, which includes SAP HANA, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP FI-AA Archiving. You will also participate in DevOps activities like automation, continuous integration, and delivery.

responsibilities

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
Perform SAP Basis administration tasks, including system installations, upgrades, configuration, and maintenance
Provide support, including incident resolution, problem management, and change management
Collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth integration of SAP systems with other enterprise systems
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for SAP administration and DevOps activities
Participate in the design and implementation of continuous integration and delivery pipelines

requirements

2+ years of experience as a SAP Basis Engineer
Strong knowledge of SAP Basis and DevOps
Experience with DB Administration, Performance Analysis, SAP FI-AA, and SAP HANA is a plus
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
