Project Manager 40 hrs/week, 12+ months

We are currently looking for a remote Project Manager to join the Desktop Platform Technology organization based in a time zone close to GMT +/- 3 hrs.

The role will report to a Program Manager and drive the group focus on providing the best-in-class solutions to their market-leading Desktop/Data/Content Intelligence Products.

The Technical Project Manager will define, scope and manage one or more projects of medium size/complexity and will work with senior project and other management to ensure technical and/or business objectives are achieved.

Typical projects may include the entire lifecycle from requirements through to deployment or specific parts of the lifecycle of a larger project. Typical project complexity/size will 6-12 months duration and involve up to 40 FTEs across one or more locations.

  • Deliver scaled agile software product projects within the constraints of scope, time and cost to agreed levels of quality, within the organization’s project management framework
    • Assist teams in understanding agile processes and approaches
      • Define, document and manage smaller-scale projects with minimal supervision, working with multiple teams that may have differing priorities and working/cultural practices
        • Actively participate in all phases / agile ceremonies of the project or specific phases of larger projects; identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project
          • Effectively manage project team conflicts, build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, and commit to making decisions
            • Estimate costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed scope and constraints
              • Prepare and maintain project plans and tracks activities against the plan
                • Implement an effective communication plan and operating rhythm, including the provision of regular and accurate reports
                  • Monitor costs, timescales and resources used and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances; ensure that deliverables are implemented within these criteria
                    • Manage change control gaining agreement for revisions from project stakeholders
                      • Provide effective leadership to the project team ensuring members are motivated and developing their skills and experience; identify any problems with sponsorship


                        • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in software development projects (web and/or mobile development)
                          • Thorough understanding of the Agile Software Development Methodology, values and procedures
                            • Ability to manage/supervise multiple projects in a fast-paced and challenging environment
                              • Ability to build processes in the new project team from scratch
                                • Ability to choose, adopt and tailor any delivery methodology being an expert in the most of them
                                  • Technology background is a must. Ability to understand, challenge and suggest improvements in solution architecture. Desire to constantly improve technical solution to meet changing Client needs and market trends
                                    • Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts, hands-on experience in introduction engineering excellence approaches and techniques on the project. Including but not limited to: suitable testing pyramid, CI/CD, code quality tracking and improvements, etc.
                                      • Strong experience in people management
                                        • Ability to maintain high level of organization and attention to detail
                                          • Ability to approach and communicate with a wide range of personalities
                                            • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and transparency
                                              • Ability to build efficient organizations at scale of 30-50 ppl, inspire and grow managers
                                                • Knowledge of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach
                                                  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
                                                    • First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM) is a plus
