SAP P2P Business Solution Architect
We are seeking a remote SAP P2P Business Solution Architect with expertise in SAP Logistics (SCM) to join our remote team. As an Architect, you will be responsible for leading SAP pre-sale and implementation project governance, as well as identifying gaps in the P2P process and developing options for gap closures. You will work closely with customers to develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs and ensure that the solutions we provide are tailored to meet their specific requirements.
responsibilities
- Lead SAP pre-sale and implementation project governance, including business requirements adjustment and development, fit-gap analysis, process and organizational change, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Support assessment of current customer solutions and potential areas of opportunity for SAP solution implementation
- Develop Procure-to-Pay (P2P) functional requirements and identify related IT and business enablers from the initial point of view around customer initiatives to the final blueprint as a base for SAP implementation
- Drive architecture governance and methodologies to ensure consistency, communication, and cooperation across P2P & SCM domains of architecture
- Partake in the customer engagement lifecycle, and act as an integral member of the account engagement team
- Define and integrate business, data, application, and the technical P2P architecture domain
- Lead/support the target architecture & customer roadmap development and maintain alignment with SAP solutions
- Proactively introduce innovation topics to solve specific customer needs
- Build personal customer relationships and support EPAM sales team in detailed customer (solution) discovery discussions
- Stay up to date about P2P improvement trends and the actual SAP portfolio of related solutions to formulate a customer roadmap
requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of practical hands-on experience in SAP
- At least 2 projects in a technical team lead role with constant hands-on work during the last 3 years
- At least 1 year of experience as a Software Architect
- High proficiency in SAP MM Purchasing, SAP S/4HANA for Central Finance, SAP EWM, and SAP IBP
- Expertise in P2P business architecture development with knowledge of related SCM business processes, SAP solutions, and delivery methodology
- Ability to identify P2P-related business opportunities and solution gaps, as well as develop gap closure options
- Experience in aligning and communicating effectively with customer IT and business organizations
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA (SCM) functionality
- High-level understanding of sales forecasting and demand planning, sales & operations planning, strategic sourcing, and distribution strategies
- Ability to estimate work efforts relating to the P2P process and related organizational design improvement, SAP technical configuration, and development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level
nice to have
- Expertise in frameworks: PMP, SAP Architectural and Design Thinking, TOGAF
- High-level understanding of overhead and inventory reduction approaches
- Knowledge of sales process cycle, account, and go-to-market planning in IT service sales
- High-level understanding of the SCOR model, Lean methodology, and warehouse processes
- Understanding of SAP products capabilities, functionality, and technologies: SAP S/4HANA (Sales, Finance, Controlling), SAP CAR, CARABs, EWM, TM, SAP IBP, ARIBA, BTP
