Scrum Master for a Universal Bank 40 hrs/week, 12+ months

We're looking for a remote Scrum Master with proven production experience, and experience leading agile scrum teams to join our team.

The customer is one of the leading universal banks of Russia, offering a wide range of banking services and products in Russia, CIS, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the U.S.

As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for the implementation of Agile practices and techniques by the team, compliance with the requirements of the Process, including working to increase the maturity and effectiveness of the team

Please note that even though you are applying for this position, you may be offered other projects to join within EPAM Anywhere.

Responsibilities

  • Introducing a new production process in a team
    • Working with the product owner in terms of managing the backlog, preparing and conducting scrum ceremonies
      • Working with a team to develop an agile culture, discipline, accountability, setting rules and agreements, following them
        • Working with stream leaders to identify bottlenecks and organize initiatives aimed at eliminating them
          • Synchronization of various types of team activities, management of relationships with other teams within the stream
            • Organization and support of team demos and retrospectives
              • Track progress and achievement of goals and team maturity
                • Help to remove obstacles facing the team (e.g., dependencies on other teams)

                  Requirements

                  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices, both waterfall and agile approaches (Agile Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
                    • Experience in managing production teams of a full technology stack (analytics, front, back, testing, DevOps) throughout the entire life cycle of the project
                      • Experience with government customers
