Senior 2nd Line / Environments Support Engineer
We are currently looking for a remote Senior 2nd Line / Environments Support Engineer to join our team.
As a Remote Senior 2nd Line / Environments Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the stability and performance of our production environments.
With 3+ years of relevant production experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security, delivery, and availability of our HighQ platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and contribute to the improvement of our software platform.
responsibilities
- Provide second-line technical support for our software platform, addressing and resolving incidents and service requests
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to Windows support and high availability clusters
- Utilize your knowledge of High Density Virtualization Hyper-V to manage and maintain virtualized environments
- Design, implement, and manage Windows and Hyper-V environments, including Datacenter cluster(s)
- Analyze data flow and perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and enhance security
- Support three-tier web applications running in public and/or private cloud environments
- Participate in the on-call rotation to provide support for maintenance, scheduled work, support, and release/deployment requirements

- 3+ years of relevant production experience in supporting and maintaining production environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows support and high availability clusters
- Proficiency in High Density Virtualization Hyper-V
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Windows and Hyper-V environments, including Datacenter cluster(s)
- Ability to produce data flow diagrams, perform gap analysis, and propose holistic security enhancements
- Familiarity with three-tier web applications running in public and/or private cloud environments
- B2+ English level for effective communication and collaboration
