Senior Automation Tester
We are looking for an experienced remote Senior Automation Tester to join our team, responsible for spearheading the development and maintenance of our automated testing solutions. As a Senior Automation Tester, you will be responsible for driving the design and development of new automation tests, executing and maintaining our automation testing framework, analyzing and reporting on automation test results, and collaborating closely with other teams, such as Business Analysts, Developers, and QA. responsibilities
- Design and develop new automation tests using JavaScript and web UI test automation tools in JS, such as Playwright
- Evaluate user stories and define acceptance criteria for automation testing
- Execute and maintain our automation testing framework, ensuring its robustness and reliability
- Participate in Scrum events, such as grooming, planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups
- Analyze and report on automation test results, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
- Refactor code to ensure its maintainability and scalability
- Maintain documentation for the automation testing framework and collaborate with the TA team to ensure its accuracy and completeness
- Write REST and PostgreSQL requests (optional)
requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in automated testing using JavaScript, including web UI test automation tools in JS, such as Playwright
- Experience in using Protractor, Jasmine, and Cucumber for automated testing
- Understanding of REST Web services
- Experience in developing automation testing frameworks and understanding of automation testing framework layers
- Experience in using BDD approach to automated testing
- Proficiency in Git for version control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with CI systems, such as Jenkins
- Experience with Report Portal tool
