Senior Automation Tester in Java with AWS

We are looking for a remote Senior Automation Tester with expertise in Java and AWS to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Java 8 and its features (Stream API, lambdas), along with practical experience in REST API testing using REST Assured and JMeter. They should also have experience in UI testing using Selenium WebDriver or any of its wrapper frameworks (Selenide, JDI), and be familiar with BDD, TDD, and DDT methodologies.

responsibilities

Automated test development (API, UI, DB, Integration test) on the Java platform for multiple applications across the technology stack
Maintenance of existing Test Automation Framework
Maintenance and extension of existing CI infrastructure for automated test execution
Test report analysis, bug reporting, and verification
Development of “close-to-code” component-level tests together with the development team
Frequent interaction and collaboration with team members across all streams - Software Engineering, DevOps, Manual QA, and BA

requirements

At least 3 years of experience in automated testing in Java
Solid knowledge of Java Core and Java 8 features (Stream API, lambdas)
Expertise in Amazon Web Services
Familiarity with Continuous Integration fundamentals and ability to set up and maintain jobs using CI i.e. Jenkins
Experience with Docker
Understanding and practical experience in REST API testing (RESTAssured and JMeter as primary testing tools)
Experience in UI testing using Selenium WebDriver or any of its wrapper frameworks (Selenide, JDI, etc.)
AQA Java AWS
B2+ English level

Experience with Apache Maven
Experience with Git
Experience with Spring framework and its test components
Ability to write advanced SQL queries
Experience with application component Mocking and unit testing
