Senior Automation Tester in Java with AWS
We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester in Java with AWS to join our team. In this role, you will be a hands-on technical tester responsible for writing automation end-to-end API test cases, executing and analyzing performance tests, and supporting the test framework while integrating automated testing into the CI/CD flow. You will play a vital part in the release processes, monitoring and analyzing logs to ensure the quality of our software products. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the modernization of our testing practices by rewriting deprecated API test cases from Ruby to Java.
responsibilities
- Write and maintain automation end-to-end API test cases
- Execute and analyze performance tests to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization
- Support the test framework and seamlessly integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline
- Participate in release processes, monitoring system behavior and analyzing logs for potential issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Rewrite deprecated API test cases from Ruby to Java for improved efficiency and maintainability
requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience as a Senior Automation Tester in Java
- Proven experience in testing backend (REST) systems both manually and with automated test cases
- Strong familiarity with testing APIs using mocking tools like Wiremock
- Solid understanding of SDLC and QA Testing Environments
- Proficiency in data integration, Web-Services (REST), XML, and JSON
- Strong familiarity with AWS, using its resources for efficient data processing and storage
- Experience with CI/CD configuration to ensure smooth testing and deployment processes
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test cases
- B2+ English level for effective communication within the team and documentation

- Familiarity with Docker for containerization of testing environments
- Experience using Allure reporting to generate comprehensive test reports
- Proficiency in Ruby for potentially handling legacy code or cross-team collaboration
