Senior Back End Engineer for Retail Company
Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Back End Engineer to join our team.
responsibilities
- Active Participation face to face in Refinement, Peer Review, Retrospectives and Demos online
- Designing, building, testing, automating and supporting integral infrastructure and application components within our API platform
- Deploying software and services through emerging DevOps tools such as Terraform
requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience building APIs (REST, GraphQL etc)
- Development experience, in a contemporary language such as Java
- Some experience with cloud infrastructure services (in AWS, Azure or similar)
- Experience with containerisation and related technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge/Experience working on databases with large datasets, monitoring and tuning performance
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- CI / CD, pipelines and automation (GitLab CI, Circle CI, Jenkins etc)
- Quality assurance, testing and system monitoring tools
- Some exposure to ‘Infrastructure as code’ (ideally in Terraform)
