We are looking for a highly experienced remote Senior Data Engineer to join our team of professionals.

As the Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our data platform and infrastructure. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of Data Software Engineering with expertise in Scala, AWS, and Databricks as must-have skills.

responsibilities

Develop scalable and efficient solutions using Scala and associated technologies for DVA business line
Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design data-driven solutions
Build data pipelines and models using Kafka and Databricks
Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes and AWS
Mentor and guide junior developers on building data engineering solutions

requirements

4+ years of experience working with Scala and associated technologies such as Spark, Akka, or Play
Proven experience with distributed systems and cloud computing, specifically with AWS and Kubernetes
Hands-on experience in building data pipelines and working with technologies such as Apache Kafka and Databricks
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ level)
