Senior Database Developer for Healthcare Company

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Database Developer to join our team.

responsibilities
  • Responsible for the management of database instances. This includes tasks such as user creation, creating and altering table spaces, configuring listeners and creating and managing rollback segments
    • Responsible for the daily backup and data export of all database instances including hot backups and cold backups
      • Document and execute changes on production and non-production environments, including database configuration changes, database patches, and software updates
        • Follow industry Best Practice and guidelines to minimize risks to system availability and security
          • Report all potential risks, operational failures, time constraint problems and extraordinary events that will negatively impact to the supervisor
            requirements
            • 3+ years of relevant experience
              • Professional knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database administration including user management, installation, DBMS management, troubleshooting, patching, upgrading, and tuning
                • Professional knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database backups, recovery / restores.
                  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL database administration including user management, installation, DBMS management, troubleshooting, patching, upgrading, and tuning
                    • Knowledge of MongoDB / NoSQL database administration including user management, installation, DBMS management, troubleshooting, patching, upgrading, and tuning
                      • Experience with cloud database platforms like AWS Aurora, Redshift, SQL Server RDS, PostgreSQL
