Senior Developer with Cloud.AWS for a Retail Company
Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Developer with Cloud.AWS to join our global team.
The customer is a retailer of branded footwear and apparel. The company offers men's, women's, and children's shoes, clothing, and accessories including sportswear for football, tennis, golf, running, basketball, and training purposes.
responsibilities
- Understanding the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it
- Migrating infrastructure with zero downtime to a highly available, scalable one
- Setting up a monitoring stack
- Implementing the application’s CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack
- Writing infrastructure as code using CloudFormation
requirements
- Proficient knowledge of object-oriented programming combined with 3+ years of software development experience in: Python or Golang
- Experience with Kubernetes and the broader container ecosystem
- Experience with container-native machine learning ecosystem such as Kubeflow
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes or other container technologies
- Experience using AWS services (i.e. EC2, S3, DynamoBD, EMR, SageMaker) or other public
- cloud services (Google, Microsoft, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in designing and building large-scale software and/or data
- architecture
- Willingness to learn other programming languages while working at Nike
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills in technical and non-technical areas
- Being a good team player
- At least 3 years of working experience
nice to have
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services
- Knowledge of Apache Airflow, Apache Spark
- Understanding of Argo CD, Linux
- Knowledge of PyTorch
- Familiar with R Language
- Knowledge of Scala, TensorFlow, Terraform
