Senior DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a remote Senior DevOps Engineer with at least 3 years of experience as a Networking Engineer or a combination of Networking and Sysadmin.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform. They should also have a good understanding of GitHub and experience with layer-2, layer-3, and/or layer-4 network protocols and technologies, TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP, NFSv4.x, SMB.
responsibilities
- Provide support to customers using Cloud Platform products, solutions, and APIs
- Provide technical and developer support to customers using Cloud Platform products, solutions, and APIs
- Work closely with Engineers and Product Managers to make customers successful
- Manage change requests and incident tickets for the Infrastructure Teams
- Follow notification and escalation procedures and communication standards
requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience fully as Networking Engineer or a combination of Networking and Sysadmin
- Expertise in GCP
- Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX and Windows Server
- Strong understanding of GCP networking and web and mail protocols
- Experience with routing protocols, load balancing, network security practices and tools
- Familiarity with multi-tasking and multi-processing, container’s networking implementations, troubleshooting tools, common Linux troubleshooting tools, and SQL
- B2+ English level
nice to have
- Experience with GitHub
- Familiarity with VMs such as Google Compute Engine, VMware, Amazon EC2
