senior devops engineer with perforce administration skills
We are looking for a Remote DevOps engineer with strong Perforce Administration skills to operationally own and support its implementation of Perforce. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Linux-based environment, both virtual and bare-metal, and have strong troubleshooting skills in a wide number of technical areas.

responsibilities
- Own and maintain client`s infrastructure as well as assist in the day to day management of the environment
- Work with our Enterprise Applications team to build and execute the vision and strategy for the internal environment, including implementation of new technical solutions, and developing system roadmaps
- Be responsible for installation, testing, debugging and administration of the software and hardware infrastructure within our physical, VMware, and AWS platforms
- Be responsible for complex problem resolution, and daily production support escalations
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps software engineering
- Expertise in supporting large, diverse Perforce installations (P4D, Proxy, Broker, Swarm, P4V)
- Proficiency in working with Perforce version control workflows (Depots, Streams)
- Good Understanding of how to administer Perforce users, workspaces, permissions, triggers, typemaps, etc
- Ability to troubleshoot user facing Perforce issues around authentication, performance, and permissions on Windows, Mac, and Linux
- Strong knowledge of Perforce maintenance tasks (checkpoints, journal rotations) and experience in managing upgrade tasks
- Experience in administering Linux / UNIX systems: specifically, Debian, Ubuntu, and/or Mac
- Experience in working with OS performance tuning, troubleshooting, and analyzing log files within a Linux-based environment
- Familiarity with Linux patching and patch management best practices

- Experience in working with Web–based technologies, including reverse proxy servers, SSL certificate configuration, three–tier architecture, and service–oriented architecture
