We are currently looking for a remote Senior Functional Testing Engineer with 3+ years of QA experience with functional testing as primary skill and decent understanding of testing levels and types to join our team.
The customer is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical healthcare companies. Its principal business is medicines, biologics, vaccines, and consumer and animal products.
responsibilities
- Analyze requirements (clarify possible gaps and dependencies in stories)
- Collaborate closely with BA, designer
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases
- Create test scenarios for automated testing
- Perform manual functional testing of the web application using testing levels and types defined in the test strategy
- Track defects in Jira following the set flow
- Prepare Sprint Test result report
- Participate in troubleshooting and triage process
- Collaborate closely with the development team on possible issues
- Work as a part of Agile Scrum team (participate in all aspects of the Agile process)
- Report clearly to supervisors on the status of assigned tasks
requirements
- 3+ years of QA experience with functional testing as primary skill
- Decent understanding of testing levels and types
- Knowledge of testing types used at the project (web testing, functional and domain testing, compatibility testing, UI and usability testing, integration testing, regression testing)
- Understanding of the requirements analysis process
- Experience with requirements traceability matrix
- Ability to estimate QA activities, create test cases, investigate business logic
- Decent knowledge and skills in defects hunting, understanding of what defect lifecycle is
- Experience of providing testing activities result report, improvements proposal
- Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in Agile process
- Web testing skills
- Experience with browser debugging
- Understanding XML, JSON
- Clear understanding of CI/CD
- Understanding of how to test integration between systems
- Ability to learn quickly, be attentive to details and be highly organized
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Dedication to quality and process improvement
- Collaborative attitude and approach to testing
- English level - B1
