Senior GCP Developer
We are looking for a remote Senior GCP Developer to join our team.
With 3+ years of relevant work experience, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of cloud ecosystems run on Google Cloud. As a Senior GCP Developer, you will collaborate with our international team and utilize your expertise in online banking. Strong English and German communication skills are essential for success in this role.
responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of microservices in a container environment, leveraging your hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes operations
- Design and implement automated infrastructure provisioning using Terraform/TerraGrunt, Terraform Enterprise, and Ansible, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Develop and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub, implementing best practices and patterns
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, and alerting tools like OpsGenie, NewRelic, DataDog, Splunk, and Google Operations-Suite (Stackdriver) to monitor and optimize system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize software development life cycle processes with tools like TeamCity, BitBucket, Artifactory, SonarQube, Veracode, Crucible, JIRA, Confluence, and Service Now
- Analyze log files and troubleshoot complex issues, ensuring the stability and scalability of microservice architectures
requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Knowledge preferably in the area of online banking
- Open-minded and ready to work in an international team and in an Agile environment
- Experience in working in a large-scale agile setup based on SCRUM and strong familiarity with the roles involved
- Hands-on experience in working with ITIL processes
- Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems run on Google Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes operations with GKE or similar technology
- Experience with automated infrastructure provisioning using Terraform/TerraGrunt, Terraform Enterprise, and Ansible
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (GitHub) and patterns for CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with at least one monitoring tool such as Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, and alerting tools like OpsGenie, NewRelic, DataDog, Splunk, and Google Operations-Suite (Stackdriver)
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle processes based on related tools such as TeamCity, BitBucket, Artifactory, SonarQube, Veracode, Crucible, JIRA, Confluence, and Service Now
- Hands-on experience in analyzing log files
- Understanding of Microservice architectures
- English and German language skills at a B2+ level
