Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer to join our team.

Our customer is a financial services group that provides a comprehensive range of services to personal, business, and corporate customers and has leading market shares in banking products in the Republic of Ireland.

This is a new technology concept of leveraging business functionality in a sustainable and secure way via the Backend for Frontend (BFF) approach.

responsibilities

Working in an agile team environment in the design and execution of BFF
Working on business critical applications, supported by a team of technical experts
Adhering to established process and quality standards
Developing the Backend code
Following engineering best practices; writing automated unit tests for code
Delivering testable, maintainable, and high-quality code
Sharing knowledge, evangelizing best practices and collaborating as part of an experienced and high performing team
Ensuring that our customer’s experience is the very best it can be

requirements

4+ years of experience developing professional web applications with Java, Spring framework
Experience with build automation tool Maven
Experience with Agile
Experienced with building Microservices
Experience with unit/integration testing using JUnit and Mockito
Experience in supporting, implementing, and maintaining automated build and deployment pipeline tools
Advocate of development standards, design patterns, and best practices
Deeply understand the Java 8
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of security concepts, like mutual TLS, OAuth, JWT
Proficient English (written and spoken) B2+
